Cervical Spinal Cord Crush

A simple work made for a Weekend Challenge on the BlenderArtists-site, topic was Martial Arts.

The Cervical Spinal Cord Crush, or short the CSCC, can be mastered in different degrees, with the highest being the one when you have taken out all 7 cervical vertebrae, holding them in your hand, still in one piece and attached to each other.

The CSCC also makes a killer game at parties. Just divide everyone into pairs, and try to get the highest possible degree (go for all 7 vertebrae!).

Tip: always ask your opponent before performing to stand still and to open their mouth (this may not always work).

So have fun and watch your back,
God of Potency

Just a little practice. Made for a Weekend Challenge, topic Pagan Gods. Hope you can forgive me for the simplicity.

Please don't pray to Bikkie-Dikkie for fertility problems. It won't work.
If you have impotence trouble however, this is the guy to go to. Sacrificing of young virgins is prefered.

* which is mime for: "Mime is sooo sad"

A simple work made for a weekend challenge, theme is expression.

he's crying because someone died.
- Wait, is he really crying? Mimes do (over) exaggerate... it's like acting, isn't it?
But still, someone is really dead. Can't he be grieving over that?
- Dude, the black tear is painted on his face. Just look at his expression, it's fake.
Every person expresses him/herself in his/her own way.
- Perhaps, but this one is just acting.... very badly, if I might say.
Are you sure about that? Maybe he doesn't know how to show his true feelings? And who are we to say how people should mourn someones death?
- Uhm...

Little Boy's birth....

Made for a Weekend Challenge on a Blendersite. Theme was 'invention'.

I think without humanity and a clear conscience the human intelligence can be the most dangerous weapon of all.

I am very aware of the choices I made in this work; the toonstyle, the title, the cheering, the Asian scientist. But after 2 days working on the characters I started working on "Little Boy" itself, and from then it made me sick. To be honest I was trying hard to keep my eyes dry. No matter how much I was stylizing or abstracting it, the whole idea of the bombing remained intact and was right in front of me. Guess my work got me this time.

The reason for the scientist in the middle, is because I hope (and believe) there's still some humanity left in this world.

Peace,
